5 months of ageing “sur lie” with “batonnage”* in French oak barrels (Never).

*Ageing on natural fine lees, which is raised at regular intervals during a period of time between 2 – 6 months.

Subtropical fruits, peach pit and citricus. Blue and white flowers, marzipan and toasted.


Fresh and libely with mineral notes, hazelnut and lichi and banana. Balanced and voluminousm .


This was one of the most rainy years, January and February were quite normal, but in March fell 404 ltr. It was very strong cold, because there were nearly nos frost, but it made a continuous cold. April 61 ltr, and May 46 ltr, were very cold and rainy, there fore the out break was late on 8.04.18 The flowering was also delayed until the first week of June, It was very slow and dispersed and late until the end of June. The summer was generally fresh, except for some days 35º. Correspondingly the harvest stated late or seller said in its normal date on September 10th it was very dispersed and we finished on October 10 th. I had to stop in between several time, since the rains began in October and in particular 21.10.18 they fell 200 ltr. It has been a year of the most contrary to the previous year 2017, which was a great drought. Only the date of the rain in the negative cycle 2017=83 ltr ( total 386 lr) comparing it with the negative cycle of 2018=511 ltr. (total 1067l ltr) 6 times more, shows how rainy the year was, with its corresponding pressures of fungal pests. Thanks to our ecological, biodynamic management we knew how to control it, so that it did not affect us in the development of the vineyard and in te quality of the grape. The quantity and quality of the vintage was exceptional, this year we have been given very soft wines, with moderate alcohols and with very elegant Atlantic freshes.
